Took the 240D out for a good ride the other day. Stopped and took some pictures along the way.

I’m going to have to drive this route again sometime in the next few weeks as the leaves change.

I love up tree photos! And that house is the stuff from horror stories. I totally would have tried to go in...

I honestly can’t blame anyone for that feeling. I’m sure one day my curiosity at said things will get me injured or worse. But I’m just too fascinated by abandoned places.

Sadly, I haven’t been finding too many here that I can get in without getting seen...

I’ve got a few abandoned resorts near me that I want to explore, I just don’t want to run into a drug deal or hobo fight.

That’s my main problem. I have no one to explore with and it’s far saver with two people than alone.

Though, one of my most fun experiences the last 3 years I’ve been heavily photographing was an abandoned school by myself. Every window was boarded up. All the doors as well. There was one small entrance in a basement window. The whole place was creepy as hell. But I was apparently completely alone with the exception of little foot prints I heard in a large pitch black room in the basement. I was in the place for a few hours.

Only recently I found out that a friend grew up just across the street from the school and she told me how dangerous the neighborhood was...

I had some friends take me urban exploring in some abandon buildings in Cincinnati back in 2008. I only a really shitty point and shoot with me, but got some cool pics. It was fairly dangerous, we knew we weren’t always alone. One building we hit up at night and I know we were being followed from a distance around the place as we went floor to floor.
